Chronos Energy are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our client's team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analysing project requirements, gathering data, and providing accurate cost estimates. Our client are a market leading energy services company who specialise in decarbonising large buildings. You can be based anywhere in England with travel to sites as and when required.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Evaluate and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.

• Estimate costs for labour, materials and equipment.

• Compile and organise data from various sources to create comprehensive and detailed cost estimates.

• Review project plans, specifications and other documents to understand the scope of work.

• Collaborate with project managers and other departments.

• Identify and assess potential risks that may impact projects and budgets.

• Produce reports post-project to improve future estimating accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience

• Qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry in one or more of the following commercial refurbishment, commercial newbuild, renewables or MEP.

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail orientated with a focus on accuracy.
